Nara hasedera

Also known as the "Temple of Flowers," this is the head temple of the Buzan sect of Shingon Buddhism, with over 3,000 branch temples.

Hasedera temple is the head temple of the Shingon Buddhism Buzan school, which has 3,000 branch temples. It is also known as the "Temple of Flowers" because flowers bloom throughout the year.
Founded in 686, the principal image of the temple is the Eleven-Headed Kannon Bodhisattva, a wooden Buddha statue over 10 meters tall, making it one of the largest in Japan. It has also appeared in classical literature, and is the 8th temple on the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage, attracting many believers.
In spring and autumn, special viewing of the main hall is held, during which you can touch the feet of the principal image of Kannon.

Exit the Nishi-Meihan Expressway at Tenri Interchange and take National Route 169 towards Sakurai.

Turn left onto National Route 165 (eastbound) in Sakurai City

Turn left at the Hatsuse-nishi traffic light and head towards Monzenmachi
