Introduction of Attractions
Salon Naramachi Store
Enjoy tea made with carefully selected tea leaves and Japanese sweets in the traditional atmosphere of Nara.
Founded in 1716, Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten's "Charon" is a shop where you can enjoy delicious seasonal Japanese sweets and selected teas in a traditional townhouse in Naramachi. They sell tea ceremony utensils such as matcha, tea whisks, and tea bowls, offer takeout menus such as thick tea lattes, and hold workshops where you can casually experience tea ceremony culture.
*Among the tea ceremony experience course menus, only the Ji-Tate course is free of charge.
